National Librarian’s Day Celebration at H. K. College of Pharmacy. A One-Day Commemoration of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan’s Birth Anniversary

In honor of National Librarian’s Day and the birth anniversary of the esteemed National Professor and Padmashri awardee, Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, a One-day program was held on 12th August 2026.

 Prof. Dr. Tushar Lokhande, Principal, graced the occasion and expressed their thoughts on the importance of literature. They endorsed the utilization of the library and strongly recommended that the students refer the authentic information, found in the library’s peer reviewed books for their subject matter. An e-Quiz competition was organized for students. The winners were awarded mementos and certificates. The names of top three winners are Mr. Om Namaye, Ms. Komal Sharma and Mr. Vansh Vohra

A faculty (Mrs. Vaishali Patel) and three students from Second year B. Pharm, third year B. Pharm, final year B. Pharm (Ms. Kajal Rajesh Sahani, Ms. Anamika Bind, Ms. Zainab Patel) were felicitated for being the top borrower of books from the college library. Prof. (Dr.) Tushar Lokhande presented mementos and certificates to all the winners of Top borrowers and e-Quiz competition.
